Are your plants real?

Yes! We love the energy and atmosphere that real plants provide. It’s the beautiful life of the outdoors that we can admire indoors. We have dozens of plants and trees at our spaces.

Can the plants be moved? How about the furniture?  

Yes! Almost all of our plants are on wheels so they can be moved easily. Please lift our sofas with two people; do not drag them across the floor.

What seamless colors do you have?

Each of our spaces has 20 colors of seamless at any one time. But as we are booked daily, the colors are constantly changing, so please take a look at the Savage paper color chart and let us know which you are interested in. We can let you know what we have.

Can you buy a seamless paper for me?

Yes, if we are given 48 hours notice, we can purchase a color from our local distributor (if available) from the Savage color chart for $100 per roll.

How much does your 9-foot wide seamless paper cost?

A pull of 9-foot seamless paper is $20; a pull is 5 feet of space for walking/standing.

What lighting equipment do you have?

Please take a look at our EQ list for all that we provide; we generally carry Profoto D1 for strobe and ARRI for continuous lights.

Can you rent lighting equipment for me?

You’re welcome to contact CSI rentals directly for equipment rentals.

Can I store items overnight during a multi-day shoot?

Definitely! Your items will be secure. We charge $50 per night, available in the add-ons section.

I’m a beginner photographer and need help with lighting. Can you help?

We can set up (2) Profoto D1s with a softbox or umbrella or any modifier for a $25 fee from our add-ons section when you book.

Can you provide catering for me?

Yes! We can provide beverages, breakfast and lunch for your production for a fee depending on the size of your production. Please send us a note at matka.nyc@gmail.com

Can I arrive an hour earlier to my booking?

We apologize, but we only allow clients to arrive 15 minutes before a booking.  

Do you allow events?

Yes! We allow certain chill gatherings up to 30 guests via our Peerspace listings for Lustro and Sosna.

Do you allow alcohol to be served during events?

Yes, we do, as long as you have paid the alcohol permission fee in the add-ons.
