MATKA was designed to accommodate projects big and small, professional and beginner, high end to low-fi DIY.
We believe that art making encompasses all of these dynamics and believe that there is space for everyone.

LUSTRO is our street level space with a long wall of windows wonderfully suited for photo shoots, events, meditation, yoga and gatherings of all kinds.
OKNO has 7 windows, elevator access and is situated just a one-minute walk from the Morgan stop on the L train and close to many restaurants.
SOSNA, has bright south-facing windows in a 30x40 loft with 13 foot-tall windows.

Our OKNO space will be moving for 9/1. Until then, please book our NEW SPACE.

Our grip and lighting are FREE: that includes all c-stands, softboxes, umbrellas, silks, extension cords, apple boxes and strobe+hot lights.
